In this one the boy that is a complete fan of apple has admitted to a fault to their security. He also nerds on about how he finds it a lot easier to “worm” into vista or Linux but it can still be done on apple. He implores apple to update and improve their security.

Factors you would need to consider when buying a PC or Laptop for your course

Factors you would need to consider when buying a PC or Laptop for your course

Screen:

The screen should be at least a 13.3 inch or bigger. This is because if you were to be doing an assignment that required a lot of typing this is the smallest realistically you could see in full detail without straining your eyes.

Battery life:

This is vitally important because if you have a laptop that has a low battery life you will spend all your time looking for a power outlet and not working. So this would sort of defeat the purpose of having a portable computer. So my recommendation would be to have at least a two hour battery life.

Processor:

The processor is by far the most important single dependant of system performance in a computer. This is why is imperative to have a fast one. Most of the computers nowadays have quite up to date processors but best if you check how good it is with an independent specialist before buying.

Graphics card:

In our particular coarse a graphics card isn’t to important because we don’t use to many different graphics. But if you want to play games on the internet or even just on the computer a good graphics card is required.

Wireless connecter:

This for me would be one the most critical criteria of picking a computer. This is because this is a key component of a laptop. This allows you to connect to the internet without all the stupid Ethernet cables. It also must be quite user friendly.

USB:

Having at least 2 USB ports would be a requirement for me. This is because I would use one to plug in an external device and the other to connect to a printer or some other output device.

Memory:

This is one of the areas that can be compromised to create a lighter laptop. Usually its about 250 gb of memory in a laptop but one of the latest would be about 500.

Cost:

The cost of a laptop is immaterial in this case because essentially you get what you pay for in computers.

Internet security:

This is vital to protect vital information and also to stop any viruses from corrupting your compuer.

Leinster V london irish

This week Leinster have proven to the sporting world the importance of not getting carried away. last week was a very good week as far as Cheicka's men were concerned. but this week not so much. So as the journalists paint the RDS with alegations of abusive behaviour the boys in blue ruin out against a very amature side.
London Irish were nothing to be amazed by but they were helped immensely by a poor set piece by Leinster. The blue magic now need to concentrate alot more and keep their heads out of the clouds to beat Brive in France.

Leinster vs Munster

This weekend in the fortress that is the RDS, Leinster pretty much destroyed the team who were meant to be their rivals. Rivalry is usually close between two teams but that was a simple embarrassment. very rarely does a team not score any points in a rugby match. but munster really emphasised how dominant leinster are in irish rugby!!It was men against boys that night. So much so that munster saw red and John Hayes is paying a heavy penalty for his childish tantrum. I implore munster to next time please give leinster some sort of game and put any kind of score on the board.
